Changes to my study programme

Hi everyone! Today we are going to talk about mi career. In my previous  post I told you all that my current career is "engineering in natural renewable resources".

I think that in general, university careers in Chile tend to place subjects that aren't entirely relevant for future work.

With this in mind, I want to mention that the study programme of my career has already been modified and will be implemented obligatorily from 2022, however I see an unnecessary overload that will lead to the collapse of the new generations.

But also this new study programme have cool subjects that I would like to realize.

My career programme needs subjects that look more deeply at territorial management from the social area (not only with one course in our 5 years of study). This is with the purpose to learn how to communicate in a better way with people from different territories. Also we need more field practices related to what we would be done in a job in our area.

I also believe that collapsing students with information that in the end they don't end up learning correctly due to the pressure of complying with reports, tests and controls (each one has a lot of information) isn't a good educational system.

But there is still a long way to go for something like this to change, so we have to live with the lack of field practices and information gaps.

My future job

Hey everyone, today new post is about my future as a professional.

The first thing i want to say is that i didnt want to study my actual career at first. I prepared myself half of my life to study medicine. But as you see, life takes many turns.

I wasn't passionate about entering to the health area. I had it as a goal out of commitment to my family.

In a moment of crisis when I was waiting for the PSU results, I asked myself what I wanted to do in the future? what I would like to work on?

It was a moment of self-reflection

I realized how much I love nature and that i want to be able to put a grain of sand for the environment to improve. This is how I got to study my current career "engineering in natural renewable resources"

I hope to learn every possible area, but I'm also interested in working in the area of hydrology. Water is an important resource for all kinds of living forms 馃

A funny and important moment of my childhood

Hi everyone! Today I'm gonna post about a funny and important moment of my childhood!

I was like 8 years old and just learning how to ride a bike without wheels in my grandfather house with my friend Andrea, she wanted to go to the minimarket in our bikes. I agreed with her.

But to get there we needed to past across a passage that was on a rise! It was super steep and ended in a kind of "cliff" (6 metters long) that overlooked the road ... Yes, it's what you are thinking ..

I saw my friend calmly get down the rise, a true pro at riding a big bicycle. At that moment I heard her say "Come down using the brakes" and I super confident said "Mmh, why not?".

My brakes cut off, I hit the protection bars and I almost fell 6 metters directly to the road.

Of course my grandfather punnish me very bad, but just at that moment my friend come angrily saying "I told you to get down walking!"

So I felt like a clown because i misheard what she said.

My mom told me back then "¿Qui茅n te creias?¿Fredy turbina?" (a character from '31 minutos')

My best Holidays

Hey everyone, today's post it's about my beautiful holidays in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. I went there with my family for a entire week  from iquique and is such  a beautiful place to you to go and have some fun. The landscape there is rare in a good way, you can go and realx in so many sites too. Santa Cruz have a butterfly farm and inside there are pools and restaurants.

I could say that Santa Cruz also has a zoo, but it isn't like the zoo's we are use to . Most of the animal are free in a big (like really big) greenhouse, for example the monkeys have their own island with a lagoon around it and you cant go there, you have to look from lakeside. Now let's talk about their food because OMG, they really have the best empanadas ever, I am sorry,  they are called salte帽as and i really like them cause their flavor is so unique, if you go there ask for salte帽as and thanks me later.

Travel

My biggest dream is to travel around the world, but I have only visited 3 countries because I had the opportunity back then when I was 16 years old. One of my next travel goals is Japan, I love Japanese culture and I'm a fan of anime.

Imagine me going to a Comic-Con with a full cosplay, enjoying myself and doing a photoshoot in all the new landscape that this country offers.

To me, any country who provides more than a full desert it's just so wonderful! and thats cause I'm from iquique, here isn't to much to see. I really can't wait to have a job to finally save some money and make my travel dreams come true.

After all my travel journey is done, my last destination is England. England is the country where i want to grow older cause the landscape there gives so positive vibes, or maybe is something in there that gives me hope about my future as a person.
